Born and raised in Edmonton, Gary started his 40-plus years in construction as a master electrician. He took a job with SNC Lavalin and, for 18 years, worked his way up the ranks to director of project controls, eventually moving to Toronto to work as director of project controls for a series of multi-billion dollar mines.
Gary retired from SNC Lavalin in 2018. He remained retired for about two months before Ketek lured him back to the table to benefit from his expertise in processes, procedures, cost control, planning and scheduling.
